Description
We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer to join our growing IT team in Lahore. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing our network infrastructure. This position requires a solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, as well as hands-on experience with network equipment and systems.

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and ensure availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement network solutions that align with business needs.
- Implement network security measures to protect data, systems, and networks.
- Perform network upgrades and expansions as needed.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, subnetting, etc.).
- Experience with network equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
- Knowledge of network security practices and protocols (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
- Experience with wireless networking technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud networking principles (AWS, Azure, etc.)
